汤姆斯河，新泽西州 — 365球赛平台郡学院 学生 Brooke Doering of Toms River and Cynthia Huggins of Brick were among 37 学生 from New Jersey’s 社区 colleges named to the 2023 New Jersey All-State Academic Team. The 学生 – all members of Phi Theta Kappa, the 国家 honor society for 社区 colleges – were honored by the New Jersey Council of County Colleges for their outstanding 学术 achievements and exceptional service to their communities and colleges, and recognized during the recent NJ 社区 College Scholars Celebration at the 状态 museum in Trenton

“These exceptional 学生 utilized the many opportunities that New Jersey’s 社区 Colleges have to offer and succeeded brilliantly. We applaud the New Jersey All-State Academic Team members for their 学术 excellence, 的努力, and perseverance to rise to the top of their class. Their tenacity and incredible work ethic serve as an inspiration to all,” s援助 NJCCC President Aaron R. Fichtner, Ph值.D.

Phi Theta Kappa is the premier honor society recognizing the 学术 achievement of 学生 at associate degree-granting colleges and helping them to grow as scholars and leaders. Doering and Huggins are both members of Tau Iota, 365球赛平台郡学院’s chapter of PTK.

“Being able to receive an exceptional education and grow as a person, 一个领导者, and an active member of the 社区 while still at home has allowed me to figure out exactly who I am and who I have the potential to become,多林说。, who also served as chapter president of Tau Iota in 2023.
